Ofir Shay - Partner TLV
One of the leading and most prominent venture capital funds in the Israeli ecosystem. The students gained insight into the investment world from the investor's perspective. What investors look for in a startup, how they evaluate entrepreneurs and ventures, which parameters influence investment decisions, and the right way to approach the fundraising process.
Ariel Yaakov – CEO and Founder of Payro
Ariel shared the journey taken from the company's founding to the development of a solution in the payroll and finance sector. The students gained insight into an entrepreneur's personal journey, learning about the challenges, decision-making processes, and how to navigate uncertainty along the way. The session offered a personal and practical perspective on the reality behind launching a startup.
A tour of the company Gong
We concluded the semester with a visit to Gong—a leading Israeli unicorn that developed an AI platform for the sales sector and evolved into a global technology company. During the tour, students gained firsthand insight into the company’s growth story, work environment, and organizational culture, bridging the gap between the material covered throughout the semester and real-world practice.
